Cheetah in graphite on paper, 10″x8″.

This particular cheetah lives at The Wild Place in Bristol, and is one of three brothers who reside there. Such a gorgeously expressive face on this one, made for a great subject. It was my first encounter with these magnificent cats, and it was so interesting to watch their behaviour towards their keeper – acting like domestic cats in their mannerisms and vocalisations. Fascinating.
