Review 2017 – My year in graphite.
Eleven drawings in a year doesn’t sound a lot, but I like to think I’ve gone with quality over quantity. From a strong start with the Elephant, to smaller pieces like the Red Squirrel, to the large and time consuming White Tiger and finally to the gorgeous Jessie, I think I’ve maintained consistency throughout the year and perhaps even improved as the year went on.
I’d like to say thank you to everyone for being with me for the journey, and hopefully you’ll all stay with me as we continue onwards. Your support means a lot to me, and I hope to continue progressing onwards with it.
Overall, I’m happy with the output for this year. Here’s to 2018, and whatever pieces of work that shall bring.
